Registration fee for the upcoming season will be $65 for the first player and $60 for each additional player in immediate family. Registration dues are payable at time of registration.

Players must be four (4) years old on or before December 31, 2011 in order to play soccer in the Spring 2012 Season - No exceptions. (refer to age chart above)

Registration Notes & Requirements

Birth Certificates for new players

Mandatory that all new players are required to bring a copy of their Birth Certificate to registration or mail to Glen Rose Soccer Association - P.O. Box 1596 - Glen Rose, Texas 76043

Team Formation Procedures

Team Formation is based on age. We will take requests for players to play with a friend, coach, team, and carpooling considerations, but cannot guarantee those requests will be granted. Placement is based on availability. Players are placed on teams after registration closes.

All NEW players are placed in a unassigned/draft player pool for team placement. Teams are generally formed by 1) Zip Code; 2) School; 3) Neighborhood

Returning players have first priority to return to the team they played on the previous season.

A returning player that wishes to be placed on a new team must register as an unassigned player. Please add a comment in the note section, a new team is requested.

Returning players that skipped a season and wish to return to their original team can do so only if there is space available on the roster after registration closes. These players must register on time into the unassigned pool and place a request.

Returning Players

Mandatory for all players to bring a copy of birth certificates to registration. If you are a returning player wanting to return to your team, be sure to register on time.

Special Requests

Parents may request their child to play with a sibling. Parents may also request their child to play up one age level. This will be reviewed by the Board and a decision will be made on a case by case issue. Players cannot play down an age group.

Age Verification

Mandatory that all players returning and new are required to bring a copy of their birth certificate to registration as to all records were destoryed by a past board member. Glen Rose Soccer Association is required to keep a copy of each players state certified birth certificate (not hospital) or other government issued documentation showing birth date for a player to be added to a team. If the player was born in Texas a copy can be requested from the county courthouse.

Financial Assistance

If you are requesting financial assistance, you CANNOT register online. This will require you to register at one of the "Walk-In" registrations. Please keep in mind that financial assistance is NOT guaranteed to be approved.

Returned Check Policy

All checks returned to Glen Rose Soccer Association as uncollected will be charged an additional $30 per check. Subsequent payments must be made with credit card or money order. Players will not be placed on a team until settled.
